Microcontroller (Raspberry pi) with other materials & tools

I chose the Raspberry Pi as the microcontroller for this project. But why?

Microcontroller: Raspberry Pi The Raspberry Pi was chosen because it’s powerful enough to handle tasks like processing sensor data and managing the heating system effectively. It has plenty of GPIO pins, which are like connection points, allowing you to easily link different parts of your project together. Plus, there’s a big community of Raspberry Pi users who share resources and can help with any issues you might encounter. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for making sure your heated car cover works well and stays safe.

Relay: Omron G6C Series The relay acts like a switch for the heating elements in your project, controlling how electricity flows to keep everything running safely. The Omron G6C series relays are known for being strong and dependable, which makes them perfect for this job.

Ultrasonic Sensor: SunFounder Kit This sensor helps measure the amount of snow on your car by sending out sound waves and measuring how long they take to bounce back. This data helps the Raspberry Pi figure out how much heat is needed to melt the snow efficiently.

Raspberry Pi PCB The custom Raspberry Pi PCB (Printed Circuit Board) acts like a central hub, making it easier to connect all the different parts of your project together. It’s designed to keep everything neat and organized, which improves the reliability and performance of your heated car cover.

By using the Raspberry Pi and these components, you’re ensuring that your heated car cover project is not only effective but also safe and reliable.
